BATTUSHIG BATBOLD, FIRST VICE-PRESIDENT OF MONGOLIAN NOC, WISHES LUCK TO YOUTH OLYMPIC GAMES ATHLETE
B.Battushig, First Vice-President of the MNOC wished luck and held a farewell reception at the Olympic House today the delegation of Mongolian athletes who will participate in the "Buenos Aires-2018" The Third Youth Olympic Games.
Ch.Amarsanaa, member of Executive Council of the MNOC, will serve as the head of 11 Mongolian athletes who will represent our country in a variety of sports, including basketball, judo, shooting, taekwondo, weightlifting and freestyle wrestling.
The decision to organize the Youth Olympic was made during the International Olympic Committee Session in 2007. The 11 Mongolian athletes have participated in "Singapore-2010" The First Youth Olympic for 7 types of sports and among them are B.Battsetseg and G.Erdenebold who won double gold medals for freestyle wrestling 60 kg category, and gymnastics respectively for the first time; and B.Dulguun continued the ongoing success of them by winning silver medal for freestyle wrestling 48 kg among 5 athletes who could take right to compete for 4 types of sport at Nanjing 2014.
Furthermore, we would like to extend our deep gratitude to Deren Naran LTD for providing "Joma", a Spanish sports clothing brand for all the athletes who will participate in the Olympic Games. We wish good luck to all our athletes. May the anthem of our motherland be heard many times in the Stadium of the Olympic Games and rejoice us.
